Last weekend my nephew was here and as always he wanted to stamp with Aunt She-She! As we were stamping in the studio, he spied my beautiful green hats from the last two Stampin' Up! Conventions hanging on the wall. Well, he grabbed me around the neck and said "Hey, Aunt She-She! If it's a 'stampin' party', we have to have party hats on!" So, here we are, 10:00 PM, on a Saturday night "havin' a stampin' party!"

This is the view when you open the left flap!

This is the view when you open both flaps.
The envelope accordian pouches are on each side.

Here are the 8 pictures I mounted to put in the 8 pockets of the accordian pouches!

A New Little Nephew to Love!

I am happily celebrating the birth of my newest nephew, Shane Thomas Lamer!

Shane was born a week ago today and is the little brother of Samuel Thomas Lamer! Yes, Aunt She-She (as Sam calls me) went to visit last weekend! There just are no words to decribe the joy of cuddling that little bundle of joy!!

Sam and I even took some time out to stamp a couple of extra special cards for Shane! (Didn't want you to think I was shirking my stampin' duties!)

And as you can see, Sam is a very proud big brother!

Stampin' Up! Convention

Convention this year was awesome! Here's a picture of all of us from the Impeckables and LovenStampfuls groups!! 31 in all! This pic was taken on the last day. Our brains were on overload and our bodies draggin'. Our green hats help us find each other in the sea of over 5000 other SU demonstrators! The demonstrations by the people from Home Office were exceptional and all the FREE stamps were the BEST!!! Can't wait for next year!

Yeah!! I have a blog! I finally got the courage up to tackle this computer challenge! I'm not very computer savvy but love reading everyone else's blogs! I hope you'll enjoy reading my blog and browsing all the stamped cards and projects I'll post!

I only have two more days of summer vacation left before I have to report back to school and begin teaching for my 27th year! (That makes me feel old!) I can't believe I've been teaching that long! The one thing I hate is that it cuts into my stamping time! I have to work harder to find the time to sit down and stamp!

I'm also awaiting the birth of my 5th nephew! My youngest sister is due anytime and I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! Since I couldn't have kids of my own my nieces and nephews mean the world to me!! I spent 2 hours in TJ Max Friday afternoon looking at baby clothes!!! I finally decided on a set of really cute St. Louis Cardinal onesies!! Here's hopin' he'll grow up to play baseball!

That's my first post! More on stampin' to come!
Shirley
