Manhatten Flower Textured Impressions Die

Here are two cards I made in May: one for my mom's birthday and one for Mother's Day. On both cards I used the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die for the Big Shot to emboss the roses onto the cards. This embossing die is exclusive to Stampin' Up! and is designed to coordinate with Stampin' Up!'s Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set (p.106) You can find this textured impressions die on p. 202 of the Spring/Summer Idea Book & Catalog.

On the first card I used the textured impressions die on vellum and then cut out around the roses. I then put glue on the embossed edges using a two-way glue stick and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top of it!

On the second card, I used the textured impressions die on the front of a Whisper White card. Then I used a Sponge Dauber to dab Pink Pirouette ink on the raised flower image!

There are so many different techniques to use with this textured impressions die that I just haven't had time to try them all! Watch for more samples in future posts!
